Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Trivia Anywhere and Selfcommit.dev.

What makes your product unique?

Trivia Anywhere's answer

Trivia Anywhere is the only audience engagement platform that's 100% free with zero limits — unlimited players, unlimited questions, and every feature unlocked. While competitors like Kahoot cap free plans at 10 players and charge $20–60/month for branding and team features, Trivia Anywhere gives you everything out of the box: live trivia, interactive bingo, Wheel of Words, Q&A, polls, team mode, custom branding, lead capture, presenter view, and CSV export — all without a credit card.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Trivia Anywhere's answer

No other platform offers this combination for free: unlimited participants with no paywall, six game modes (trivia, bingo, Wheel of Words, polls, Q&A, team mode), custom branding with your logo and colors, lead capture with CSV export, a dedicated presenter view for projectors, power-ups, sound effects, and QR code joining with no app download required. Competitors either limit free tiers aggressively or charge per-seat — Trivia Anywhere has none of that.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Trivia Anywhere's answer

Teachers running classroom review games, corporate trainers hosting team building events, bar and restaurant owners running weekly trivia nights, event coordinators managing conferences and fundraisers, and HR managers organizing virtual icebreakers for remote teams. Essentially anyone who wants to engage an audience interactively — from 5 people to 500+ — without budget constraints or technical setup.

What's the story behind your product?

Trivia Anywhere's answer

Trivia Anywhere was born from frustration with existing tools. Every trivia platform either hit you with a paywall after 10 players or charged monthly fees for basic features like branding and team play. We believed audience engagement tools should be accessible to everyone — the teacher with no budget, the bar owner running a side event, the startup doing remote bonding. So we built a platform where every feature is free, forever, with no catches.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Trivia Anywhere's answer

Next.js (React framework) TypeScript Firebase (Realtime Database, Authentication, Hosting, Cloud Functions) Tailwind CSS Node.js

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Trivia Anywhere's answer

Teachers and schools using it for classroom quiz reviews and student engagement Corporate teams running virtual team building trivia and onboarding activities Bar and restaurant owners hosting weekly trivia nights Event planners running conference icebreakers and fundraiser games Churches and community organizations hosting bingo nights and fellowship events HR departments organizing remote employee engagement activities
