Side note: I really liked Axis and Allies, played it several times as a young adult with a few close friends. There is a nice open-source implementation of it, if you want to "play" instead of work. My recommendation is to sign up for codecademy.com and create an account to learn SQL over there. Also use sqlbolt.com because both of these websites provide detailed interactive SQL tutorials that should help you write it.
