Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Plain HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript, with no backend for file processing. Everything runs client-side in the browser

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

ToolGalli's answer

Everyday Indians dealing with paperwork: students and job aspirants preparing exam and application forms, people completing bank or KYC formalities, tenants generating rent receipts for HRA, and anyone who would rather not upload their Aadhaar or PAN to an unknown website. Increasingly also professionals — chartered accountants and HR teams — who handle other people's documents. Primarily India, in English and Hindi.

What's the story behind your product?

Everyday paperwork in India still runs through cyber cafés — to resize one photo for a form or unlock an eAadhaar PDF, people hand their most personal documents to a stranger's computer, where copies can linger long after they leave. A small independent team in India built ToolGalli to replace that trip: tools that do the job on your own phone and never upload anything. "Galli" means a small neighbourhood lane — it's the cyber café in your pocket, except nothing ever leaves your hands.

What makes your product unique?

ToolGalli runs entirely inside your web browser — your files are never uploaded to any server. You can prove it in ten seconds: turn on aeroplane mode and the tools still work. Almost every other document tool uploads your file to process it; ToolGalli can't see yours at all, which for sensitive Indian documents like Aadhaar, PAN and bank statements is the whole point.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Three reasons. First, privacy you can verify rather than just trust — nothing is uploaded, provable instantly with aeroplane mode. Second, it's built for Indian paperwork specifically: exact exam photo and signature sizes (SSC, IBPS, NEET and more), Aadhaar masking, rent receipts, tax calculators, and guided "Form Ready" packs that assemble exactly the documents an exam, visa or job needs. Third, it's genuinely free — no sign-up, no watermarks, no file-size limits, nothing paywalled.

ToolGalli is a free consumer product with no sign-up, and by design it stores nothing that could identify a user — so there are no "customers" in the enterprise sense. It's used by students, job applicants, tenants and small professionals across India.
