  I'm not good in programing and I'm about to develop a story driven action rpg style game. I like to be able to do a lot (sometimes turn-based, sometimes hack'n'slash), use different weapons, be able to develop the character's level, weapons...   You could easily do this without having to implement anything. Have people download Tiled at mapeditor.org and make their maps with it, then they can export their maps to .json and you could open them on your machine for review with the same program. Source: over 3 years ago

• Made a Custom GPT4 that functions as a DM for DnD 5E.

  So I added the pdf for the player rulebook, monster manual, and command cheatsheet for the avrae discord bot found on dndbeyond.com as a tool to help run games through discord.   Read? Most anything having to do with the class and race/species you want to play in addition to some of the basic rules. dndbeyond.com/how-to-play-dnd can potentially be a great resource so long as you are playing the 5th Edition of the game. It WILL seem like a daunting amount of information, but it is manageable if you limit what you learn to the necessities and learn the rest as you play. If you click on that...   There are countless videos on YouTube around how they play at the tabletop, but I think the best place to start would actually be dndbeyond.com. You will be locked to the basics, but you can get an idea from character building there because you can create characters and see how stats impact rolls and explore class features.
