TickTick DocFXUsing this specifically for school. It has all the features of microsoft to-do and google tasks. After using Notion, I became accustomed to viewing tasks in a certain date range and being able to tag assignments, which neither of the aforementioned apps could do the same way. This keeps track of all tasks, their due date, type tags, and folders separated by class. Simple and fast windows app, android app, and android widgets.

We would really prefer to use a somewhat generic pre-made tool for this (such as DocFX) compared to rolling our own solution. We can roll our own solution... But would prefer not to so that we can minimize development and maintenance overhead. Source: over 4 years ago
