TabTree is a mind-mapping and whiteboard app that fits in a single HTML file. You double-click it and the whole application is there — offline, with no account, no server and no subscription. It runs in any modern browser on macOS, Windows and Linux, and installs as a web app on iOS and Android.

One document reads six ways: mind map, kanban board, Gantt chart, page of notes, spreadsheet or full-screen presentation. You switch views — nothing is converted, so nothing is lost. It ships with 69 templates, 156 line icons, 36 illustrations, 18 diagram generators, six layouts and nine skins, all drawn for the product, so nothing is fetched from anywhere.

It opens .xmind, Markdown, OPML, Excalidraw scenes, Trello exports and Excel lists. It exports high-resolution PNG posts, carousel PDFs, MP4 flythroughs with subtitles, Markdown and CSV — or one .html file carrying the app and the map together, so your reader can read, navigate and even present your map with nothing installed.

A free connector lets Claude read your library and turn a transcript or a spec into a real map on your disk — local files, no account, nothing uploaded.

One-time purchase from $49, no subscription. Bought once, works forever.
