Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Tableau and AuraSync.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

AuraSync's answer:

Python for backend development, RDBMS for data management, AWS for cloud infrastructure, and AI/ML technologies for intelligent assessments and automation.

What makes your product unique?

AuraSync's answer:

AuraSync brings hiring, assessment and workforce insight together in one platform. It supports both talent acquisition and talent management. Recruiters manage jobs and candidates in the ATS. HR and people leaders assess their existing employees. Both use the same built-in assessments: JD-based skill tests, personality/leadership, cultural fit, technical tests and case studies. The results are combined with voice and facial signals from a live, monitored session and turned into one clear score and a written report, so no one has to read raw data. Organizations can hire the right people and also understand the skills, potential and engagement of their current workforce across departments, teams and functions. Each person is measured against their own calm starting point (a personal baseline) rather than a population average. This reduces bias, and the platform is honest about what the science can and cannot claim. Importantly, the face, voice and psychometric signals that confirm a person’s identity also bring out their genuine strengths. Capable candidates are recognized for what they can actually do, and organizations build stronger, more productive teams on the basis of evidence.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

AuraSync's answer:

Most companies buy an ATS and a separate assessment tool and then work to connect them. AuraSync does both in one platform, and assessment results flow back into the hiring pipeline automatically. One session captures skills, personality/leadership, and cultural fit, so recruiters see the whole candidate. HR and people leaders can use the same assessments to develop, redeploy and retain the employees they already have. In the age of AI, interview fraud is becoming common. Proxy test-takers, AI-generated answers and impersonation during interviews are increasingly used to get through hiring processes. AuraSync checks whether each candidate is authentic by combining three signals:

Facial cues: confirm that the registered candidate is the one taking the assessment from start to finish. Voice patterns: catch inconsistencies such as a change of speaker or signs of coaching. Psychometric signals: check that the candidate's answers are consistent with their profile. Suspicious sessions are flagged for review, so someone can look into them to evaluate fairly and give another opportunity.

Fair to genuine candidates, valuable to organizations. Authenticity checks are only one side of AuraSync. The same facial, voice and psychometric signals help reveal how a candidate reasons, communicates and responds to realistic work situations. This works in favour of talented and honest candidates: they are assessed on demonstrated skill rather than resume polish, they are not placed at a disadvantage by applicants who rely on proxies or AI-generated answers, and they gain a clear view of their own strengths. For organizations, the result is shortlists built on evidence, less time spent on unsuitable applicants, shorter hiring cycles and teams that are better matched to their roles.

AuraSync is also built for compliance. Candidates see terms and give consent based on the country or region they live in. It includes AskAura, an AI assistant that lets recruiters and managers ask questions about their hiring and talent data in plain English, like having a chief of staff for every person in the organization.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

AuraSync's answer:

AuraSync serves the whole employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition to talent management. On the acquisition side, the primary audience is recruiters and HR teams at companies that hire at volume or hire for skills. They need to screen and assess candidates fairly and quickly, including across countries. On the talent management side, HR, Learning and Development(L&D) OR Organizational Development and Learning(OD&L) and people leaders use AuraSync to assess their current workforce. This lets them take the pulse of the organization, understand the human factor across people, teams and functions, and map the internal talent pool. With that view, they can redeploy people across departments and spot future leaders before hiring from outside. AuraSync also serves executive coaches, who use assessments to benchmark clients and build development plans. It serves EdTech and career-readiness providers too, who assess students and job seekers before they apply for jobs, so candidates understand their strengths and gaps and can prepare with confidence.

The platform is multi-tenant, so each company, institution or coaching practice gets its own space, data and settings. Candidates and employees are the secondary audience, and they experience a single, guided assessment session. They also benefit directly. Skilled candidates are recognized for their demonstrated abilities, compete on a level playing field where results are verified, and gain insight into their own strengths and development areas.

What's the story behind your product?

AuraSync's answer:

Every recruiter knows the feeling. One job opening brings in hundreds of look-alike resumes. The assessments live in a separate tool, and someone has to copy the results back into the hiring system by hand. By the time the shortlist is ready, the best candidates have often taken other offers. The hardest questions are still open: Can this person do the work? Will they fit our team? Was the person who took the test the same person who applied? Good candidates get overlooked, sometimes just because they never learned to write a strong resume.

The same blind spot continues after hiring. Organizations know job titles, but not the real skills and potential of the people they already have. Future leaders go unnoticed, and companies hire from outside for talent that is already inside.

AuraSync closes both gaps with one platform. For talent acquisition, it judges candidates on ability rather than resume polish, verifies that the right person takes the assessment, and feeds results straight into the hiring pipeline. For talent management, it gives a live view of skills and potential across teams, so people can be developed and placed where they add the most value. Verification and assessment work together: by confirming that results are genuine, AuraSync ensures that talented, honest candidates are not outranked by those who take shortcuts.

The goal: hire fairly, grow people deliberately, and base every people decision on evidence. Just as importantly, it gives every capable candidate a genuine opportunity to be recognized for their talent.
