StudySnag does that aggregation for you. One place to browse, one place to compare payouts, one place to find the study that actually fits your availability. It also covers ground the UX research panels do not, most notably paid clinical trials, which typically pay at the top of the range.

It costs nothing to use. StudySnag surfaces the study and connects you to register, then the study provider pays you directly on completion.

Beyond students, StudySnag is open to anyone based in the US who wants to be paid for their opinions. Researchers need participants from every demographic, so the audience widens to include remote workers, parents, retirees and people with specific medical conditions who qualify for clinical trials.

The common thread is people who want meaningful one off payouts rather than the cent per survey grind of traditional survey sites.

StudySnag started because I was a broke student who got paid $150 for a 90 minute focus group and could not believe it was real.

I went looking for more. What I found was a mess. Every research panel runs its own site, its own signup and its own screener, and none of them talk to each other. I ended up with accounts on nine different platforms, checking all of them between classes, and still missing studies because they filled before I refreshed.

So I built the thing I wanted: one feed with every open study in it. I shared it with a few people in my program, they shared it with their friends, and it kept going from there.

Today StudySnag surfaces 890+ paid studies a week to more than 14,000 members across the US. It is still free, it still takes an email address and nothing else, and I still use it myself.
