I use the Mac app more, and coming from Spotify (I tried Apple Music once, but the UI was so bad it made me go back), I like how a number of other things can be accomplished with other apps. For example, instead of using the basic "Edit Info..." panel, I can use Meta, which offers way more features. I find that reflecting on my experiences and going out of my way to really analyze the pitfalls and things done correctly helps a lot. I normally use coggle.it to mind map the whole experience overview and then which elements of the project seemed to be improvements and which parts where potentially poorly executed.
