I started with some html and css course on youtube, then learnt jquery briefly. Then I used scrimba.com to learn javascript and react, its a really good platform, at this point, I learn frameworks to use with react, like tailwind, material ui. It's not as monolithic as you'd think. There are lots of engines out there but their communities aren't very vocal compared to Unity, Unreal, and especially Godot's community.
