Phoenix is a framework for Elixir, the same way Rails is a framework for Ruby. Its mission is to be a productive framework that doesn't compromise on speed or maintainability. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago

"Empty barrels always make the most sound" says my co-national Alborosie in Poser, and I thought this would not apply to DHH, the creator of Ruby on Rails, because he is not only noisy about his opinions, he is friggin loud as f***. - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago

Django needs a marketing push. I opened the website and immediately it smells like a 2011 web framework. Like CakePHP. Like Zend. Like Kohana. The site makes the project feel extremely dated, which of course I have no idea how true that is, I've never used Django! Just my 2c from an outsider. I compare it to Phoenix and Rails. Asyncrun - 🚀 Run Async Shell Commands in Vim 8.0 and NVim and Output to the Quickfix Window !! - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
I'm familiar with asyncrun.vim, but it outputs as quickfix. I specifically want to filter editor text (as stdin/stdout). Source: over 3 years ago
If you want to open a new terminal in the CWD of neovim, you couls either use neovim's built in terminal or, if it needa to be kitty, use the neovim AsyncRun-plugin and start kitty with the necessary command-line options to start in neovims's CWD(I uae this with Alacritty instead of Kitty). For running the file there are several tools. I have been using asynctasks.vim which is built on top of asyncrun.vim which I usually use to open a tmux pane and run the code/test. I've been looking at switching to overseer.nvim but haven't yet. I use justfiles to define all of my tasks. Source: over 3 years ago
I can :Man blah to look up docs or :AsyncRun to build/run with jumpable output in the quickfix. Doing it within vim means I can pull from any register for pasting, yank without a mouse, hide buffers or move them to tabs, etc. Source: over 3 years ago
