As you will be posting blogs, most likely you will be using WordPress. Someone has already recommended Yoast SEO. I use it too, though some say that it affects page speed. Other recommended plugins are All in one SEO and Rank Math SEO. I can only go from my own experience. I used to have issues with sitemap when using a sitemap plugin. However, I found that using rank math is best all round. I deleted all sitemap from Google, installed Rank Math and used the settings they suggested. I then adding the sitemaps back to GSC. Source: over 3 years ago
