Plotiar was built to be the workspace writers actually need - one that treats documents like real pages, keeps everything organized in one project, and lets you collaborate without compromises.

Plotiar is built with React and TypeScript on the frontend, with a GraphQL API powered by Apollo Server on the backend. The database runs on PostgreSQL with Redis for caching. Real-time collaboration uses Yjs, a conflict-free replicated data type (CRDT) framework. The application is deployed on AWS using Lambda, Amplify, and Aurora. The rich text editor is a custom-built canvas editor designed specifically for page-layout writing.
