I'm going through the textbook "Beginning Perl" located at perl.org, and I'm having a confuse with one of the example questions. I'm supposed to determine the order of operations for 26 + 3 ^ 4 * 2. According to the precedence table in the textbook, + and * come before ^. So I think the answer should be ((26 + 3) ^ (4 * 2)), but the book says the answer is 26 + (3 ^ (4 * 2)). You say you only use open-source and Iโm the same way but Iโve asked agents to evaluate open-source alternatives. How is that psychosis? If itโs typescript or JavaScript, I can read the code but if itโs Rust/Go/etc, yeah I get AI to read it and tell me if it can solve my problem or if it has the features I need.
