Overall, PayPal used to be convenient, but recent experiences on safety holds, opaque policies, and unhelpful support make it feel more like a headache than a reliable way to pay or get paid
I like PayPal, it has a high security standard. Except when I am the one suffering a chargeback for some flimsy reasons.

(I live in USA) When I go to payments under my shopify account to add paypal as a payment method I am having trouble doing so. I first click activate paypal > activate paypal express checkout which directs me to a "security challenge" (confirm I am not a robot). Then it just brings me to paypals website (paypal.com/us/home). You can buy another coin, for example Litecoin, on your exchange, and then use a non-KYC exchange service like morphtoken.com, changenow.io, or fixedfloat.com, to exchange it for Monero. Actually, I apologize. It's a website called "morphtoken.com", for trading into Monero, they charge a flat fee of 0.00008 XMR and then a variable network fee of between 0.5% to 0.7% of the bid/ask spread. (I would assume they are acting as a sort of OTC market maker.). Source: over 5 years ago
