And it works on what you already have, linking your existing Excel or SharePoint list read-only, so there is nothing to migrate.

Most alternatives are either spreadsheets that never warn you, or contract management suites that need an implementation project before you see any value. OwndUp is ready in minutes: import your Excel, link a SharePoint list, or start from one of nine templates. You get per-row reminders, expiry dates in Outlook, Google or Apple Calendar, roles for sharing, and continuity built in, so the overview keeps working even when the person who always kept track of it leaves. Pricing is deliberately simple too: two fixed amounts, no per-user fees, and the backup role is always free.

Lite serves individuals watching their own deadlines; Business is for teams that need shared lists, handover and a safety net when someone falls away.

OwndUp started with a moment most companies recognise: a contract renews silently, or a certificate turns out to have expired, and the money or the valid paperwork is already gone. Usually one person kept track of it all in their own file, and when they left, the overview walked out the door with them. Spreadsheets never send a heads-up, and contract management systems felt like overkill. So we built the middle ground: a smarter, shared spreadsheet that warns you in time and never depends on a single person.

OwndUp is built on .NET with Blazor Server, EF Core with PostgreSQL for data, and Hangfire for background jobs such as reminders and escalations. It integrates with Microsoft 365 for login and reads SharePoint and Excel lists as a read-only mirror. Billing runs on Stripe, and everything is hosted within the EU, in Frankfurt and Amsterdam.
