MyLinedChart is a desktop charting and analysis app for Interactive Brokers traders. It runs locally with your own TWS or IB Gateway, so your data stays on your machine.
What makes it different: it turns your chart work โ drawings, notes, indicators, and full chart context โ into structured data you can export to JSON, XLSX, and CSV, instead of trapping it in screenshots. And it connects to an AI agent (Claude or any MCP client) that can read and operate the chart: draw trend lines, set up indicators, even build custom formula indicators with natural language.
Your account and orders stay strictly read-only. The AI can analyze and draw, but it can never place a trade.

Traders who want detailed information on their drawings, notes, indicators, and trades so they can improve their journaling, backtesting, automation and trading process.
MyLinedChart's answer:
Traders can finally exports drawings, notes, indicators, and trades to JSON, XLSX, and CSV for journaling and backtesting. An AI agent (Claude or any MCP client) draws trend lines, sets up indicators, and builds custom formula indicators โ every change confirmed by you
MyLinedChart's answer:
I built MyLinedChart to fill a gap I couldn't find a solution for elsewhere: I couldn't find a charting platform that lets traders export their drawings, notes, and full chart context as real data, only as screenshots.
So I solved for that, then took it a step further beyond what IBKR's connector can do and built an MCP that turns the whole chart into structured data. It has 9 tools. 8 are read-only: chart context, candles, drawings, indicator config, provider status, your trades plotted on the chart, a screenshot, and the drawing-symbol list. Plus one confirmation-gated write, proposechartchanges, so the AI can also operate the chart to draw trend lines, set up indicators, build custom indicators, and change the view.
All of that is now fully exportable data into JSON, XLSX, and CSV, so I can do journaling, review, and analysis on my own trades, plus backtest my trading process and build new automation and algos even faster.
