You can go around some of the extra processing by using other camera apps, for example "Open Camera". It can even shoot RAW photos, so that the least amount of processing is applied to the image. I've used mixtiles.com to print some of my photos for home. It's a bit limiting (only squares and one size) but they look nice enough, they're cheap, and they're easy to put on and off the wall (they use sticky tape). Source: over 2 years ago
