Lineage OS isn't officially supported on the FP4, but there are other OSs that are. One is iodรฉOS (based on Lineage). I have been running it on my FP4 and have no complaints apart from not being able to use the wide-angle camera. Source: almost 4 years ago
Yah, there are other competitors out there like Atsanik, e/foundation, Iode, Liberate your tech, and Mamushi that I found. Atsanik, Liberate and Mamushi offer either CalyxOS or GrapheneOS and Iode and e/foundation offer a modded version of Lineage. Source: about 5 years ago
