HiTranscript is built around a complete Reel-to-text workflow rather than a single raw transcript. It combines public Instagram Reel links, batch processing, and supported uploads with word-level timestamps, speaker-aware paragraphs, transcript search and editing, and timed subtitle exports. Users can rename or merge detected speakers and export documents or SRT/WebVTT files from the same workspace.

The product grew from simple Reel transcription into a workspace for batch processing, uploads, speaker-aware review, editing, and document or subtitle exports.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

HiTranscript's answer:

HiTranscript uses Whisper Large V3 for multilingual transcription and word-level timing. The web application is built with TypeScript, React, TanStack Start, and PostgreSQL-backed services. Its workflow adds speaker-aware review, batch processing, private workspaces, and document or subtitle exports around the transcription engine.
