A potentially cheaper option: get yourself a small-to-mid-sized Android tablet or Chromebook (7-10" is the sweet spot for this for me, if that helps) and figure out a way to stand it up on your desk, and get an app called Matric on that and your PC. This has since improved enormously, but Streamyard has a number of other features that make it useful to me.
