A potentially cheaper option: get yourself a small-to-mid-sized Android tablet or Chromebook (7-10" is the sweet spot for this for me, if that helps) and figure out a way to stand it up on your desk, and get an app called Matric on that and your PC. You can run it for free but features are very limited until and unless you spend the (I think) $15 to unlock the paid version. But you can download and install several... Source: over 1 year ago

Razer Kishi-alike + phone/tablet with Matric. Source: over 1 year ago
What I currently have is a program and app called Matric. It is like a virtual button box, with a lot of other options, that allows me to send key strokes from my mobile device into the PC. Here is the link to it so you can better understand what it is; https://matricapp.com/. I also have AHK and vJoy installed. Matric has vJoy integration and I know this works as I set up test buttons that send a vJoy button... Source: almost 2 years ago
If you have an old tablet or phone that still works, you could look into something like Matric - https://matricapp.com/ That would allow you to use the pad as a button box that you can design yourself. Source: almost 2 years ago
I wish. FS2020 has the functionality and I love it. Using an app called Matric you can mirror a part of the screen to a tablet and it works really well with the touch screen enabled screens. Source: over 2 years ago
If you have an android tablet/phone then check out Matric. Can be used for any game but I've seen decks made specifically for ETS2/ATS, or just make your own, it's so easy. Source: over 2 years ago

I will say, for anyone who is after a cheap alternative, someone on this subreddit put me on to Matric which you can use to customise a tablet with buttons and widgets to perform keypresses etc. I think it's free but you have to pay to have multiple pages. Source: over 2 years ago

Anywho...if USB devices aren't an option, the only thing left is virtual button box apps on your phone/tablet. I like Matric as it can natively output to vJoy. Tons of similar apps to choose from. Source: almost 3 years ago
But do check out MATRIC. https://matricapp.com/ It gives you a completely customizable board on your tablet (or phone) to control keys and even a virtual joystick on your PC. Perfect for putting those hard to remember keystrokes in easy reach. Or even have sliders to control power, mining, cruise speed, etc when you run out of real joystick axis. My second project was to make a simple flight sim button box using an Android app called MATRIC. It grew arms and legs, I wrote a piece of middleware that will actually take in-game data using SimConnect and send it through to the tablet. Comms Screen and even a throttle. Source: almost 3 years ago
I would highly recommend MATRIC for an interface, free up to 6 controls. A mining laser throttle being an axis counts as just 1, then 3 buttons for consumables and you're done. Source: almost 3 years ago
I found an app called matric, it allow you to use your phone (preferably a tablet) as a remote controller. You create a “deck”, where you insert basically buttons and you associate them to a keystroke or a combination. So when you press that button on you tablet, your computer receive the same input as you pressed the specified key(s) and DCS will act accordingly. Source: almost 3 years ago
Power Grid has been abandoned for ages and no source is available. There are far better alternatives nowadays like MATRIC https://matricapp.com which does everything way better then Power Grid. Source: almost 3 years ago
