Beacon is a hotel revenue management platform that replaces the fragmented stack of rate shoppers, BI dashboards, forecasting systems, and event trackers with one modern workspace. Five integrated modules give revenue managers everything they need to make daily pricing decisions in seconds rather than spreadsheets.
Modules: - Rate Radar โ Competitor rate intelligence with 365-day forward visibility and proprietary Signals that flag the most important pricing opportunities. - Pricing โ Daily rate recommendations built from competitor rates, demand signals, and your strategy. Push approved rates to your PMS in one click. No spreadsheets, no manual rebuilds. - Explorer โ Business intelligence with AI-driven insights in plain English. Year-over-year comparisons, pace reports, segment deep-dives. No SQL required. - Forecaster โ Revenue and occupancy forecasts trained on your property's booking history. Tracker view classifies every date as Strong, Ahead, On-track, Soft, or Behind. - Events โ Concerts, conferences, sports fixtures, and local demand drivers are tracked automatically and fed into pricing and forecasts.
Why Beacon: - Replaces 4 vendors with 1 โ typically cuts tool spend 40-60% - 365-day competitor visibility vs. industry-standard 90 - Forecasts trained on your property, not industry averages - One-click rate push to PMS - Transparent pricing - no setup fees, no per-seat charges, no "contact sales" tier
Pricing: Essential (Rate Radar) ยฃ99/mo. Insight (+Pricing +Explorer) ยฃ4/room/mo + ยฃ91 base. Predict (+Forecaster +Events) ยฃ5/room/mo + ยฃ91 base. Annual billing saves one month.
7-day free trial. No credit card required.
Materialize CSS
Beacon.cloudMaterialize CSS is recommended for teams and developers who prefer Google's Material Design aesthetic, are building applications with a focus on rapid UI development, and value consistency and ease of use. It's also great for projects where a pre-existing UI library speeds up the development process, such as prototypes, admin dashboards, or smaller web applications. However, for highly customized UI components or non-Material Design projects, other frameworks might be more suitable.

Beacon.cloud's answer:
Beacon is the only hotel revenue management platform that combines five tools - competitor rate intelligence, dynamic pricing, business intelligence, demand forecasting, and event tracking - in a single workspace at a price point accessible to all hotels. It tracks competitor rates 365 days ahead, trains forecasts on each property's own booking history rather than generic industry models, and pushes approved rates directly to the PMS in one click.
Beacon.cloud's answer:
Beacon replaces four separate vendors (rate shopper, BI tool, forecasting system, event tracker) with one platform, typically cutting tool spend by 40-60%. Unlike enterprise platforms like Duetto or IDeaS, there are no setup fees, no per-seat charges, no opaque "contact sales" pricing, and no multi-month implementation. Pricing starts at ยฃ99/month, every tier is on the website, and a 7-day free trial requires no credit card or sales call. Hotels get enterprise-grade intelligence without enterprise complexity, cost, or commitment
Beacon.cloud's answer:
Hotel revenue managers, group revenue directors, general managers, and asset managers at independent hotels and small-to-mid-size hotel groups. Typically, properties that have outgrown manual rate management and basic rate shoppers but can't justify ยฃ30,000+/year for a legacy enterprise RMS. Users tend to be busy, often non-technical, and judged on revenue results rather than the sophistication of their tooling.
Beacon.cloud's answer:
Beacon was built on a simple observation: most hotel revenue managers spend the first hour of every day exporting data from one tool, pasting it into another, cross-referencing a third, and reconciling the differences. The hotel tech market had split into two camps - cheap rate shoppers that did one thing, and expensive enterprise RMS platforms that required consultants and contracts to deploy. Independent hotels were stuck in the middle, paying for four or five separate tools and still doing the integration work manually. Beacon was created to collapse that workflow into one platform, priced and designed for the hotels the enterprise vendors had priced out.
Beacon.cloud's answer:
Beacon is a cloud-hosted web application accessed via browser.

Sure, why not use Blazor? It makes life easier for the developers who are primarily backend, to work on the frontend as well. Seems like the better choice. So what's next? The UI library. No shade to the long-time standing Bootstrap, but it's 2023 and there are so many other libraries one could use outside of Bootstrap; TailwindCSS, Bulma, Materialize CSS, just to name a few. Forget that for a minute, maybe we can... - Source: dev.to / 9 months ago
