I don't think it does at all! > The overriding design goal for Markdownโs formatting syntax is to make it as readable as possible. The idea is that a Markdown-formatted document should be publishable as-is, as plain text, without looking like itโs been marked up with tags or formatting instructions. https://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/ Using some semantic HTML as an occasional escape hatch is perfectly in... - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
> Iโve started preferring HTML as an output format instead of Markdown and increasingly see this being used by others on the Claude Code team, this is why. This is why I read long agent output either by using VIM and MacOS Quicklook (with a markdown extension for rendering) or paste output into MarkEdit (an editor with a preview pane; I think itโs cross platform?). There's a share.goodnotes.com link and others are just goodnotes.com. I could only get one notebook to have the fist link a few months ago and it works for viewing it online on Windows on any browser, the other one just takes me to a page telling me to launch the app which I can only do on Apple devices. Is there any way to get the other type of link or was it just an experiment? Source: over 4 years ago
