I am in the process of closing down my accounts with Intuit (Mint.com & Credit Karma). I've downloaded the appropriate data from them but was directed to contact Mailchimp.com to close my account there as well. The problem is that I've never actually had a mailchimp.com account. Don't insert the logs/events/analytics into your Application DB. Usually, you send those to specialist datastores (OLAP etc) that process such high volume of data.
