The platform is designed to be accessible to non-professionals, allowing homeowners to simply upload a photo of their yard and receive design suggestions without needing landscaping expertise.

Possible disadvantages

  • Limited Real-World Feasibility
AI-generated designs may not always account for practical constraints like local climate, soil conditions, drainage issues, or municipal regulations, potentially leading to impractical suggestions.
  • Lack of Personalized Expertise
Unlike a human landscape designer, the AI cannot fully understand nuanced client preferences, budget constraints, or site-specific challenges through direct conversation and on-site assessment.
  • Dependency on Photo Quality
The accuracy and usefulness of the AI-generated designs heavily depend on the quality and angle of the uploaded photos, which can limit the tool's effectiveness for complex or oddly shaped yards.
  • No Implementation Guidance
While the tool generates visual concepts, it may not provide detailed guidance on plant selection suited to specific climates, construction requirements, or step-by-step implementation plans.
  • Subscription or Usage Costs
Depending on the pricing model, ongoing use of the platform may require payment for credits or subscriptions, which can add up if multiple design iterations are needed.
  • Buildable output
Every design is reasoned as real construction: structure, materials, contractor workflow. Not just a render
  • Cost estimate
Materials and labor estimate at local pricing for every design
  • Contractor-ready PDF

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing LandscapioAI and GetFacade.

What makes your product unique?

GetFacade's answer:

GetFacade does not generate a picture of a house, it designs a facade as a real construction job.

  • Buildable by design. Every option is reasoned against your home's actual structure, materials sold near you, and the way contractors work. If you love a design, it can be built.
  • The number comes with the picture. Each design carries a materials and labor cost estimate at local pricing, so you know what it costs before you fall in love with it.
  • Codes are already accounted for. IRC/IBC and state-level rules in the U.S., local equivalents in 90+ countries, plus HOA considerations.
  • A project, not a chat log. Photos, angles, documents and every version stay in one place, so you can compare options and come back weeks later.
  • You steer with your hands, not prompts. Controls, references and sketches drawn on your own photo, instead of guessing at wording.
  • Contractor-ready output. A PDF renovation plan with the order of work, materials, brands and safety notes that a builder can start from as-is.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

GetFacade's answer:

Most tools in this space stop at a render. A general AI chatbot gives you one throwaway image and forgets it. Interior-first design apps treat the exterior as an afterthought and know nothing about siding, stucco, trim or roofing details.

GetFacade is a facade specialist, and it carries the job through to the point where you can act:

  • It works from your house, not a generic template. Real photo, real proportions, multiple angles.
  • It answers the question that actually blocks a renovation: what will this cost? Every design comes with a materials and labor estimate at local prices.
  • It hands you something a contractor accepts: a PDF plan with step-by-step work order, materials, brands and code notes.
  • It keeps the whole project so you can iterate for weeks, not lose your work when the tab closes.
  • Pricing is honest for a one-off renovation: a free tier to start, then a one-time purchase per building. No subscription, no expiry. Contractors who work across many homes can subscribe instead.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

GetFacade's answer:

Two groups, with different jobs to be done.

Homeowners are the core audience. Typically owners of single-family houses who are planning an exterior renovation, deciding between siding, stucco, brick or paint, preparing a house for sale to raise curb appeal, or building new and wanting to see the facade before the walls go up. They are not designers. They cannot read a mood board or write a design prompt, and they need to know the cost before committing.

Contractors, remodelers and designers are the second group. They use GetFacade to show clients options fast, close jobs sooner, and produce a document they can quote from.

Geography is broad: 90+ countries with local codes, materials and pricing, and 24 interface languages. Available on iOS, Android and web.

What's the story behind your product?

GetFacade's answer:

GetFacade comes out of Archi Capital, a facade design studio with 17 years of practice and more than 900 real facade projects. The product is the studio's own craft turned into software.

Renovating a facade is one of the most expensive decisions a homeowner makes, and it is made almost blind. You pick a color from a tiny sample, imagine the rest, and find out what it really looks like and really costs only after the work has started. For 17 years the studio did that job by hand, one client at a time, which is slow and out of reach for most homeowners.

Image generators looked like the answer, but they are not. They produce a beautiful picture of a house that cannot be built: proportions drift, materials do not exist, details ignore how a wall is actually assembled. The homeowner is left with an image and no way to act on it, and the contractor cannot quote from it.

So the studio built GetFacade to encode what it already knew. Instead of treating the facade as an image problem, we treat it as a construction problem: the house's real structure, materials available in local stores, building codes, and the sequence in which the work gets done. The result is a design you can hand to a builder, with the cost attached.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

GetFacade's answer:

  • Independent homeowners renovating single-family houses (the core user base)
  • Residential remodeling and siding contractors
  • Exterior and landscape designers presenting options to clients
  • Real estate agents preparing listings for sale

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

GetFacade's answer:

  • Native clients. Purpose-built apps for iOS, macOS and Android, plus a fast web app. Not a wrapper around a website.
  • Our own facade engine. The heart of the product is a proprietary pipeline that reasons about a building's structure, materials, local codes and construction cost. Best-in-class AI models are one component inside it, not the product itself. This is where most of our engineering goes, and it is what competitors cannot copy by swapping in a different model.
  • Real-time by default. Designs stream to every device you are signed in on as they are generated, and your project stays in sync across platforms.
  • Enterprise-grade cloud. Hosted on leading cloud infrastructure with a global edge network, redundant storage, encrypted data and continuous monitoring. Your photos and projects are private and durably backed up.
  • Built to scale. The platform serves 90+ countries and 24 languages, with localized materials, pricing and building codes handled server-side.
