We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Both for simplicity and portability, I am a very happy user of https://firecore.com/infuse. I guess it's less full featured as Plex or Jellyfin (it still more than covers the bases for video: format support, different video/audio/subtitle tracks, tv series recognition, skip intros, Trakt.tv etc.); but then again all it requires is any online storage, and the Infuse app (either on iDevice or AppleTV). - Source: Hacker News / about 8 hours ago
>It lets the user browser with cover art, descriptions, trailers, sorting by release date, rating, etc. It keeps track of watched and unwatched movies. Infuse [1] is a nice way to get these features on Apple TV and iOS devices while simply sharing files via SMB. 1. https://firecore.com/infuse. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 months ago
If you are in the apple ecosystem the Infuse video player can hook into jellyfin and it has a pretty nice UI. https://firecore.com/infuse. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
I use Infuse on my Apple TV to access my videos on the network. It can pick up media from a samba share (or probably any other network share). There's more info on their site: https://firecore.com/infuse It can also serve as a front end for a Plex server if you run that. While this isn't "local files", it works well and serves a similar purpose. Note: there is a very fair, cheap monthly/yearly/lifetime... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
Not downsizing exactly, but I 'm still on my iPhone 12 mini. Partly because I prefer the smaller screen but also because its still very fast and reliable. I had previous had a Gen 1 iPhone SE which I only gave up on due to accidental damage. My Roku TV has wifi disabled and I rely on an older Apple TV for subscriptions (Netflix, PBS, Disney+). The main use-case for AppleTV though is the Infuse Pro app which I use... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
This is one of the strangest side effects of AI-assisted development becoming mainstream. Tools such as Lovable, v0, Bolt, Base44, Google AI Studio, Replit, and Claude can take a plain-language description and turn it into a working interface in minutes. But somewhere between typing your "build me a portfolio website" prompt and watching the interface come to life, a huge number of us end up with something that... - Source: dev.to / 10 days ago
Lovable takes a broader approach than a dedicated frontend generator. - Source: dev.to / 28 days ago
We built this in Lovable. A few prompts that saved real time:. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
I built the site, called Insider Hawk, with Lovable. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
A solo founder using Bolt or Lovable can go from idea to working prototype in a weekend. Cursor handles multi-file refactoring on a production codebase. V0 generates polished UI components from a description. The founder who previously needed six months and $80,000 in savings or seed funding can now ship a testable product in two weeks for under $8,000 in tool costs. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
