I think mostly because I've not found any of the intermediaries all that good. Google flights provides links to multiple places to buy. Usually I click the link directly to the airline. Another thing Iโd add is to use free sites like Google Flights or PlanMoreTrips to set cheap flight alerts from your home airport. Saved me quite a bit on random flights. Source: over 3 years ago
