  I'm serious about this and would do anything to make this buddy thing work. We can check on each other at a fixed time every day and virtually study at Hours.zone. Source: over 3 years ago

The time lapse trick is one too - I took this video specifically because I was struggling to focus - because I don't want my time lapses to be of me wandering off onto Reddit when I should be studying.
