Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Google Analytics and AdPlug.

What makes your product unique?

AdPlug's answer:

Three things.

It's built by a working PPC specialist, not an AI tools team. I've spent 12+ years in PPC and managed $100M+ in Google Ads spend, so the tools answer the questions a senior media buyer asks every week: where's the wasted spend, which campaigns are off pace, what changed since last week.

It covers LinkedIn Ads properly. Most ad MCPs stop at Google and Meta. AdPlug connects Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Microsoft Ads, so a B2B team can compare LinkedIn cost per lead against search in one question.

It's read-only by default. Your AI can read everything and change nothing until you switch on write access for a platform, and every change previews the exact field, current value and new value before it runs.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

AdPlug's answer:

  • No setup work. It's hosted: no server to run, no developer token to apply for, no code. Connect a platform in about 90 seconds, then add AdPlug to Claude or ChatGPT.
  • Four ad platforms in one place, including LinkedIn Ads and Microsoft Ads, which most AI ad tools skip.
  • Safe by design. Read-only until you say otherwise, a preview and confirm step on every write, an audit log of every tool call, and disconnecting revokes access straight away.
  • Built for agencies. One Google Ads MCC connection covers every client account, with unlimited ad accounts on every plan and team seats.
  • Flat pricing, never a percentage of ad spend. Free plan, then Pro from $29 a month.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

AdPlug's answer:

PPC specialists and performance marketing agencies who live in Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads or Microsoft Ads and already use Claude or ChatGPT for other work.

That means freelance PPC managers, in-house paid media leads, and agencies running many client accounts through a Google Ads MCC. B2B teams on LinkedIn Ads are a strong fit, since few AI tools support it.

It also suits founders who run their own paid acquisition and want a plain-English answer to "is my ad spend working?" without learning another dashboard.

What's the story behind your product?

AdPlug's answer:

I'm Daniel Popa. I've spent 12+ years in PPC, mostly Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, with $100M+ in Google Ads spend managed.

AdPlug started as something I built for myself. I was running client accounts and doing the same job by hand every week: pull the search terms, paste them into a sheet, filter, find the spend with nothing behind it, build the negative list, upload. Then do it again on the next account.

So I wired my ad accounts into my AI assistant and stopped exporting things. Audits, reporting, pacing checks and negative lists turned into a question in chat.

Read-only came first, because I wasn't going to plug client accounts into something that could change them before I trusted it. Write access is a switch you flip per platform, and anything it changes, it shows you first.

Keeping it to myself stopped making sense, so I turned it into a product.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

AdPlug's answer:

  • Model Context Protocol (MCP), served as a hosted remote MCP server with OAuth 2.1 sign-in
  • Python, FastAPI and FastMCP on Google Cloud Run
  • Next.js and Tailwind CSS on Vercel for the web app
  • Supabase (Postgres) for accounts and auth
  • Official platform APIs: Google Ads API, Meta Marketing API, LinkedIn Marketing API and Microsoft Advertising API
  • Platform tokens encrypted at rest with Fernet
  • Paddle for billing
