Yeah, I'm actually doing that with Gitea: https://about.gitea.com/ Some people went with the forgejo fork: https://forgejo.org/ though Gitea itself was a fork of Gogs, if I remember correctly: https://gogs.io/ I also ran GitLab in the past: https://about.gitlab.com/ but keeping it updated and giving it enough resources for it to be happy was troublesome. There's also GitBucket: https://gitbucket.github.io/ and... - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
> Gitea but the other one Wouldn't that also be Gogs? https://gogs.io/ I remember when that one was what a lot of people were looking into, before the Gitea fork happened. Next, the database weโre going to use will need to be created. Iโm going to do this with DB Browser for SQLite. Once installed, just go to โNew Databaseโ, browse to the location you want to create it at (just a handy place within the project folder is fine), choose a name and hit Save. An empty DB is created. - Source: dev.to / 9 months ago
Because it a GUI that uses Mac-specific UI libraries that aren't available on Linux and Windows? While the database stuff works on Linux and Windows, building UIs for the 3 platforms is very different, unless you use some cross platform wrapper layer. Which isn't the purpose of this one. You might want sqlitebrowser[1] if you're looking for something like that. [1]:https://sqlitebrowser.org. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
To inspect the database, you can use the SQLite cli tools or the SQLite browser. - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
