  The Git CLI is terrifying and awful. It's far too easy to clobber your own work -- and that of others -- when the whole point of it was to prevent that. While you still need to really deeply understand several git concepts to use it, GitKraken[0] is the best GUI tool I've used in daily practice.   If you want something simple like Owlbear, what about TablePlop it has the simplicity of Owlbear while having Character Sheets like Roll20. You can send pre typed messages in the chat for rolls, you can do rolls yourself, it even has fog of war. I have been using this ever since it's beta stages and I love it. haven't changed VTTs ever since. Source: over 3 years ago
