Klartab is two opinionated tools built around one idea: do the obvious thing well, then stop.
Klartab Time is a timesheet tool for freelancers who bill by the hour. There's no live timer, no activity tracking, no bloat - just a clean monthly calendar where you log hours per project, export a PDF, and get paid. It handles multiple clients, currencies, and rates without any conversion surprises. Hour caps per work order nudge you before you accidentally over-bill a retainer. Once a month is invoiced, you lock it - server-side, no edits, no surprises.
Klartab Agency is the companion app for staffing agencies and boutique placement shops. Define work orders centrally, invite your contractors, and every submitted timesheet lands in one filtered inbox - defaulted to what's pending. Review with a full time-entry breakdown and a comment thread, approve to lock the period, or reject with a reason so the freelancer can resubmit in place. No invoicing, no payouts - deliberately out of scope.
The two tools work together but don't depend on each other. Use either one in isolation. Connect both, and any freelancer placed through your agency gets Klartab Time at no extra cost.
Both products are EU-hosted (Belgium), GDPR-ready, and built without behavioural advertising. Your data stays yours - and deleting your account is a one-click cascade.

Choose Klartab if you want tools that respect your time and your data, without the noise.
Klartab's answer:
Klartab is built around a single philosophy: do the obvious thing well, then stop. Unlike bloated all-in-one tools, Klartab offers two deliberately focused products โ Klartab Time for freelancers and Klartab Agency for staffing agencies โ each solving one problem without scope creep.
Klartab's answer:
Klartab serves two distinct audiences that often work together:
Freelancers (Klartab Time) Independent contractors who bill multiple clients at different rates and currencies. Specifically: - Mixed-client freelancers who need clean per-project PDF reports at month-end without manual spreadsheet work. - Retainer-heavy contractors on fixed-hour engagements who need cap tracking to avoid over-billing. - Freelancers placed through staffing agencies who need a simple way to submit timesheets for approval.
Staffing & Placement Agencies (Klartab Agency) Boutique agencies (typically 5โ30 contractors) that place freelancers with end clients and need to manage the time-approval workflow centrally. This includes working agency owners who both manage their teamโs submissions and log their own hours as a placed freelancer.
Klartab's answer:
Klartab was built out of a frustration with tools that do too much. The founding philosophy is simple: identify the one obvious thing a tool should do, do it well, and stop there.
Klartab Time started as a timesheet tool for freelancers who were tired of live timers, activity tracking, and surveillance-style software. The goal was a clean, manual log โ hours per project, your rate, a PDF for the client โ without any of the noise.
Klartab Agency followed as the natural companion for the agencies that place those freelancers. Instead of chasing submissions over email and reconciling spreadsheets, agencies get a purpose-built inbox with approve/reject workflows, comment threads, and period locking.
Both products share the same values: EU-hosted, GDPR-ready, no behavioural advertising, transparent flat pricing, and a deliberate refusal to expand scope beyond whatโs needed. The Klartab suite is built for people who want software that gets out of the way.
Klartab's answer:
Klartab is built on Google Cloud infrastructure:
The web app is fully responsive and works well on mobile browsers. Native iOS and Android apps are on the roadmap.

This is why the gate needs a trace it can trust, and why AgentLens is the other half of this workflow. agent-eval scores and gates the output; AgentLens captures the trace of how the agent got there โ every model call and tool step, the resolved inputs (not the templated ones), the raw outputs. That trace is exactly the unforgeable, agent-didn't-author substrate that Tier 1+2 need to score against. Without it,... - Source: dev.to / about 14 hours ago

Conclusion Next time Git insists a private repository doesn't exist, skip editing your config file and head straight to the Windows Credential Manager. Wiping out the stale git:https://github.com entry forces a clean handshake, getting you back to coding in less than a minute. - Source: dev.to / 11 days ago
Gitea is where all private repositories live: infra configs, personal projects, anything I don't want on a third-party server. Public projects still go to GitHub because that's where the audience is, but a number of those GitHub repositories are mirrored back to Gitea as a local backup. The split is simple: Gitea for control and resilience, GitHub for reach. - Source: dev.to / 11 days ago
