GitHub Copilot
AppCribAppCrib's answer:
A quick answer gives you one shot at phrasing the question, then a wall of text โ if it's close-but-wrong, you start over. AppCrib makes the answer the interface: change the wall length and the stud count recomputes; drag the barbell target and the plate loadout re-renders. Purpose-built beats general-purpose when the answer has to be right for you. Everything is free, no sign-up, and runs client-side in your browser.
AppCrib's answer:
People who need an exact, tunable answer they can act on โ developers formatting and diffing data, DIYers planning a build who need a shopping list, lifters working out plate loadouts and training numbers, and anyone whose question deserves more than a rough estimate. If the honest answer is "here's a rough number, but you should really tune this," AppCrib is for you.
AppCrib's answer:
Quick answers got cheap, but an answer you can't adjust isn't done. We kept noticing the gap between a rough estimate and something you can actually act on โ so we started building small, focused browser tools that each master one problem: they ask the right questions, recompute live as you adjust, and end with an output you can take to the store, the gym, or your codebase. New tools ship every week, because there's an endless supply of questions worth answering properly.
AppCrib's answer:
Every AppCrib tool is purpose-built for one small problem, and the inputs are the expertise: the tool already knows which questions matter, so you point at your situation instead of describing it. Every answer comes with knobs โ tune a slider, flip a toggle, and the result recomputes in front of you. And each tool hands you a producible output: a shopping list, a cut list, formatted SQL, a downloadable file โ outputs, not transcripts.
AppCrib's answer:
React and Next.js, statically generated and served from Cloudflare's edge. All computation runs client-side in the browser โ files you compress and data you paste are processed locally and never uploaded to a server.
It definitely increases my productivity.

Snagly is a free, MIT-licensed set of 30 skills for AI coding agents โ GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and 70+ others โ that turn "an AI that can drive a browser" into "an AI that tests like a QA professional." A skill, if you haven't met them yet, is a reusable instruction set that teaches the agent a specific working method โ when to use it, what rigor it requires, what evidence to capture, and what... - Source: dev.to / 5 days ago
Where llms.txt genuinely gets read is a different layer: coding and agent tooling โ Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf โ pulling a documentation site's pages with less token waste, plus emerging agent protocols like OpenAI's Agents SDK. That's real, and it's growing fast. - Source: dev.to / about 2 months ago

For over a decade PhpStorm (starting in my WordPress era) and later WebStorm have been my main IDEs for web development. So when GitHub Copilot launched, it was a natural choice to try it out in WebStorm. It was one of the first AI coding tools I used, and it had a big impact on how I thought about AI-assisted coding. - Source: dev.to / 2 months ago
Before we get into it, there are some things about AI usage worth addressing. I've had my fair share of scepticism in the past, but recent model releases have made it increasingly difficult to argue that AI isn't a viable tool for the majority of workstreams, including building user interfaces. Most large language models are trained on public data scraped from the internet, which means your internal design system... - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
