As answered by people managing Git and BrainScanner.dev.
BrainScanner.dev's answer:
Brain Scanner connects a project graph, recorded agent context, change history, reports, and queued follow-up work in one workspace. Developers can trace a file or symbol relationship, revisit the reasoning recorded during agent work, and turn a finding into a scoped next task. It is designed to keep the human in control of project vision and scope across coding-agent sessions.
BrainScanner.dev's answer:
Choose Brain Scanner when you need a clear view of an agent-built project across multiple work sessions: how files and symbols relate, what work was recorded, which findings remain open, and what to ask the agent to do next. Its graph, reports, and queue help you organize review and follow-up while continuing to use your preferred compatible coding agent. The current open beta is free. BrainScanner.dev's answer:
Developers, independent builders, and small software teams using coding agents to build or maintain projects. Brain Scanner is especially relevant when a project has grown beyond what is easy to track in chat and the developer needs to understand its structure, review recorded changes, and preserve context for the next work session.
BrainScanner.dev's answer:
Kevin Lozada Santos started Brain Scanner after repeatedly struggling to track what coding agents changed, why they changed it, and whether the work still matched his intentions as projects grew. His background is in software development and programming education, including teaching Unity, VR, and other technical subjects. Brain Scanner grew from that personal need: make agent work easier to understand, preserve project context, and help the human stay in control of the vision and scope.
