Freshdesk provides a free helpdesk system so we can manage our support tickets. They have the feature that allows us to send emails through our own email address (vs using their own email address), and an app that works well to respond and organize tickets.
My biggest gripe with the service is that they are missing a feature that HelpScout has, where we can reply directly to the notification email and that reply gets sent to the customer. With freshdesk, we have to log into their portal or use the app in order to send a reply.
Based on our record, Front App should be more popular than Freshdesk. It has been mentiond 15 times since March 2021. Since Freewallet is a quite small company they outsource their "support" from this Indian startup the communication is quite complicated. If the company doesn't want to spend more money in order to hire a good support engineer, and instead prefers to save some money by going offshore. Then this companies' customers swill suffer. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
We use Freshdesk from Freshworks. Works great for us. No real complaints. - Source: Reddit / 9 months ago

The below is a demo of the Crayons Playground in action. It shows how to build the user interface by dragging and dropping components, updating their properties, testing them in a Code sandbox like JSFiddle, check the generated HTML code and finally download the project as a Marketplace app. You can also see the app in action in the Freshdesk product. - Source: dev.to / 10 months ago
My way of doing marketing starts with figuring out what my overall project will (or will not) be. In this case, I looked at the vendors like Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, or Help Scout. They all have whizbang features such as live-chat, collaboration stuffs, automations and workflows. They bill per contact and addons. I’d emphasize a straightforward, fuss-free angle instead. - Source: Reddit / 11 months ago
I agree with others in this thread that app-based is probably the way to go - especially if you're just building for one person. Just be sure she enables push notifications with the same settings as SMS. Others have mentioned Frontline (FYI: this product is end-of-sale), Crisp, and SpokePhone. I would also add Front as a potential app to check out as they have similar functionality. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
For the inbox with messages, email, sms and web chat, I think Front may be what you're looking for. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
So, I am currently setting up an array of self hosted solutions for our dev team including chat, wiki, etc. The only thing missing is some sort of collaborative Team-Mail Client like Spark, Missive, Front and the sorts. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
We use Aircall (https://aircall.io) and have it integrated to our shared/collaboration inbox service (https://front.com). The set-up has been solid for us. - Source: Reddit / 7 months ago
I'm thinking that all these other apps might be facilitated in Mattermost. Probably not the email client and inbox email sharing but perhaps there's an integration to another tool like front.com or hiverhq.com (gmail based) that would help take care of managing email too. - Source: Reddit / 7 months ago
