GiftCrew.app's answer:
GiftCrew was built out of a frustration familiar to everyone: wasted gifts, awkward duplicates, and the endless group chats trying to coordinate who's buying what. The goal was to create one simple, beautiful tool that makes gift-giving feel thoughtful and effortless โ for every occasion, not just the holidays.
GiftCrew.app's answer:
GiftCrew is built with Next.js on the frontend and Convex as the backend platform, handling real-time data sync and serverless functions out of the box. The app helps keep everything organized and is really easy to use. Iโve been using it for a while now, and I really like it.
If you're someone who likes to keep everything in order and easily accessible, you'll want to check out the Evernote app. This app is designed to help you keep track of all your notes, ideas, and to-do lists in one place, and it does so with style.
From my experience using the app, I found that it's incredibly user-friendly and has a sleek design. You can easily create notes, organize them into notebooks, and even add tags to make it easier to find what you're looking for later on. Whether you're a student trying to keep track of your class notes or a busy professional juggling multiple projects, Evernote has you covered.
The thing that I personally like about Evernote is that before I have used word as my note taking application, than on my smartphone I have had used Google Keep and so my notes were just unorganized mess. But with Evernote now I can have my notes at one place and unified. Also the fact that I can log to another device and my notes are "just there" is really nice. And also I like graphics user interface of Evernote.
A smart way to end the cycle of bad or duplicate gifts! GiftCrew is genuinely useful and has made gifting with friends and family so much easier and more fun.
I've been using it and love how simple it is: create a 'crew' (group), add items you actually want from any site (just paste the links), and others can silently claim things, no spoilers, no one buying the same thing twice, and no more awkward 'what do you want?' conversations that lead nowhere.
The AI gift suggestions are a highlight, just input someone's interests, budget, or occasion, and it spits out personalized ideas in seconds that actually feel thoughtful, not generic Amazon spam.
We used it for a family birthday and three friends' birthdays, and it eliminated so much stress. Everyone ended up with stuff they really wanted, and it felt way more personal overall, they were genuinely more excited and enthusiastic when unwrapping their gifts! Clean design, works great on mobile without forcing an app download, and it's free to get started (huge plus).
If you're tired of guessing games or ending up with three identical mugs, this is a total game-changer. Highly recommend, 5/5โญ! ๐๐ฅ

Obsidian is a multi-platform note-taking and writing app. Simple enough. But aren't there plenty of those around? Yes absolutely, but they each have downsides that I wasn't able to settle with long-term. With Google Cloud it was the difficult of linking between notes (this has improved since but it's still not quite what I want). With Evernote my notes were in a proprietary format and stuck in the cloud. Notion... - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
