The thing that I personally like about Evernote is that before I have used word as my note taking application, than on my smartphone I have had used Google Keep and so my notes were just unorganized mess. But with Evernote now I can have my notes at one place and unified. Also the fact that I can log to another device and my notes are "just there" is really nice. And also I like graphics user interface of Evernote.
Evernote might be a bit more popular than Expedia. We know about 66 links to it since March 2021 and only 45 links to Expedia. Obsidian is a multi-platform note-taking and writing app. Simple enough. But aren't there plenty of those around? Yes absolutely, but they each have downsides that I wasn't able to settle with long-term. With Google Cloud it was the difficult of linking between notes (this has improved since but it's still not quite what I want). Some booking websites allow you to search specifically for hostels. I just took a quick glance, and expedia.com allows it. Booking.com doesn't appear so, but maybe I missed something. Source: about 3 years ago
Whatever safe bed you can find at this point. You've left it too late to be picky and it's looking like it's going to be the start of the the busiest, boomiest tourist season here in Italy ever. Expect to have to stay very, very, very far from city centers and transit connections or to pay $400+/night on a place.
