The thing that I personally like about Evernote is that before I have used word as my note taking application, than on my smartphone I have had used Google Keep and so my notes were just unorganized mess. But with Evernote now I can have my notes at one place and unified. Also the fact that I can log to another device and my notes are "just there" is really nice. And also I like graphics user interface of Evernote.

Obsidian is a multi-platform note-taking and writing app. Simple enough. But aren't there plenty of those around? Yes absolutely, but they each have downsides that I wasn't able to settle with long-term. With Google Cloud it was the difficult of linking between notes (this has improved since but it's still not quite what I want). Yeah, but the freelanchers I got suggested by codeable.io had a fee of over 1000 dollar. I'm just a student and it's for a small recreative project I'm working on as an interest and a challenge. So I'm trying to do it with just the help of the internet. Source: over 4 years ago
That said, one resource I've found to be very helpful is codeable. They vet the developers for you. It's worked great for the type of business I run, where I need people for certain parts of projects, but I'm not a big enough company to actually hire full-time roles.
