Features and specs

What each product offers, as listed by its team.

Edka 6 features
Objects 5 features
  • Instant provisioning & scaling
Deploy a hardened, production-ready k3s based Kubernetes cluster in minutes and auto-scale across regions with ease.
  • Preconfigured add-ons
Add-ons are the building blocks of EDKA, providing essential functionality for your Kubernetes workloads. Add-ons do not require any additional configuration and are mostly required by applications to work properly or to extend your custom configurations.
  • One-Click Applications
Deploy production-ready applications to your Kubernetes cluster instantly. Pre-configured databases, CMS platforms, monitoring tools, and more - all optimized for performance and security.
  • Automated deployments
Deploy any containerized application to your Edka Kubernetes cluster with automated scaling, real-time monitoring, and instant rollbacks. All managed through a simple interface.
  • Full control & cost efficiency
CNCF-based open-standards for portability, no vendor lock-in, and cost savings up to 70%.
  • GitOps integration
Connect your GitHub or GitLab repository for automated CI/CD, preview environments on every pull request, and seamless rollouts.
  • Decentralized Object Storage
Objects.to provides decentralized storage solutions, allowing users to store data across distributed networks rather than relying on a single centralized server, which enhances data resilience and reduces single points of failure.
  • Web3 and Blockchain Integration
The platform is designed with Web3 principles in mind, making it well-suited for developers building decentralized applications (dApps) that need reliable and censorship-resistant storage.
  • Simple API and Developer Experience
Objects.to offers a straightforward API that makes it relatively easy for developers to integrate decentralized storage into their projects without needing deep expertise in the underlying protocols.
  • Content Persistence
Data stored through Objects.to benefits from content-addressable storage mechanisms, helping ensure that files remain available and verifiable over time without risk of link rot or unauthorized modification.
  • Cost-Effective Storage
Compared to traditional cloud storage providers, Objects.to can offer competitive pricing by leveraging decentralized storage networks, potentially reducing costs for developers and businesses storing large amounts of data.

Possible disadvantages

  • Limited Mainstream Adoption
Objects.to is a relatively niche platform compared to established cloud storage providers like AWS S3 or Google Cloud Storage, which means fewer community resources, tutorials, and third-party integrations are available.
  • Performance and Latency Concerns
Decentralized storage can sometimes suffer from higher latency and slower retrieval speeds compared to centralized cloud services that have globally distributed CDNs and optimized infrastructure.
  • Reliability and Uptime Uncertainty
As a smaller and newer platform, Objects.to may not offer the same level of guaranteed uptime and SLAs that enterprise-grade centralized storage providers commit to.
  • Learning Curve for Non-Web3 Developers
Developers unfamiliar with decentralized storage concepts, content addressing, and Web3 paradigms may face a steeper learning curve when adopting Objects.to compared to traditional storage solutions.
  • Limited Documentation and Support
Being a smaller platform, Objects.to may have less comprehensive documentation, fewer support channels, and slower response times for troubleshooting compared to major cloud providers with dedicated support teams.

Analysis

An editorial look at what each product does well and who it suits.

Edka
Objects

Overall verdict

  • Edka appears to be a relatively niche or emerging platform, and without extensive independent reviews or a long track record, it's difficult to give it a definitive 'good' rating. It may serve specific use cases well, but potential users should conduct thorough due diligence before committing.

Why this product is good

  • May offer specialized features tailored to a specific market or workflow niche
  • Could provide competitive pricing compared to more established alternatives
  • Might have a modern, user-friendly interface for simpler tasks
  • Potentially responsive customer support if it's a smaller, growing company

Recommended for

  • Users looking for a niche solution not covered by mainstream platforms
  • Early adopters comfortable with newer or less-established services
  • Budget-conscious users seeking alternatives to pricier established tools
  • Those who have specifically researched Edka's feature set and confirmed it matches their exact needs

Overall verdict

  • Objects.to is a niche link-in-bio and personal landing page tool. It appears to offer a minimalist way to consolidate links, but it has limited brand recognition compared to major competitors like Linktree, Bio.link, or Beacons, and detailed independent reviews or long-term reliability data are scarce.

Why this product is good

  • Simple, minimalist interface for creating a single landing page
  • Likely free or low-cost tier for basic use cases
  • Quick setup for consolidating multiple links in one place
  • Lightweight alternative if you dislike bloated link-in-bio tools

Recommended for

  • Individuals wanting a very basic, no-frills link page
  • Users experimenting with alternatives to mainstream link-in-bio services
  • Small creators who don't need advanced analytics or customization
  • Those prioritizing simplicity over extensive design options

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Edka and Objects.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Edka's answer

TypeScript, React + Tailwind CSS, PostgreSQL, Redis, BullMQ, Vault + AWS KMS to encrypted sensitive data

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Edka's answer

Edka automates the provisioning of Kubernetes clusters inside a customer’s Hetzner account and introduces abstraction layers for easier management. Clusters remain fully owned by the customer; if Edka is disconnected, the clusters and workloads continue to operate without dependency on the platform.

What makes your product unique?

Edka's answer

Edka doesn’t just automate Kubernetes cluster provisioning, it turns your cluster into a fully functional platform: - it provides a minimal UI with preconfigured values that allow a cluster provisioning in a single click - preconfigured add-ons for a production ready setup - one-click applications for rapid deployment - seamless app deployments with autoscaling, real-time monitoring, and instant rollbacks

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Edka's answer

Small and mid-sized companies looking to reduce infrastructure costs and automate operations, as well as developers who want fast Kubernetes provisioning and streamlined application deployment with minimal costs.

What's the story behind your product?

Edka's answer

Edka started as a side project to simplify Kubernetes for small teams. After years of helping small businesses run production workloads on Hetzner Cloud, I saw how difficult and time consuming it was to provision clusters with all required components for a ready to use platform. Edka was built to automate this process, providing cost-efficient, production-ready clusters with GitOps, preconfigured add-ons, and one-click applications. The goal is to give companies and developers similar features of big cloud providers, but at a fraction of the cost, while keeping full ownership of their infrastructure.
