Edka started as a side project to simplify Kubernetes for small teams. After years of helping small businesses run production workloads on Hetzner Cloud, I saw how difficult and time consuming it was to provision clusters with all required components for a ready to use platform. Edka was built to automate this process, providing cost-efficient, production-ready clusters with GitOps, preconfigured add-ons, and one-click applications. The goal is to give companies and developers similar features of big cloud providers, but at a fraction of the cost, while keeping full ownership of their infrastructure.
