CopyWebCopyWeb's answer:
CopyWeb is unique because it doesnโt start from design files or templates, but from real, existing websites. While most tools assume youโre building from scratch, CopyWeb assumes youโve already found something that works and simply want to turn it into editable, maintainable, production-ready code.
CopyWeb's answer:
Because CopyWeb focuses on a problem thatโs been largely ignored: copying an existing website is often harder than building a new one. Design tools are built for starting from zero, low-code tools create lock-in, and many AI tools generate code that looks right but is hard to use. CopyWeb is built to produce code that developers actually want to work with and maintain.
CopyWeb's answer:
CopyWeb is built for people who want to turn ideas into reality faster, including:
Indie hackers and solo developers
Startup founders and small teams
Frontend developers tired of rewriting existing UI patterns
Builders without a design background who still want great results
They share one thing in common: they donโt want to start from a blank page or be locked into a platform.
CopyWeb's answer:
CopyWeb started from a problem we kept running into. While building products and websites, we often found great pages but still had to rebuild them from scratch. Screenshots, measuring spacing, rewriting layouts โ none of that creates real value. CopyWeb exists to remove that friction and help builders focus on what actually matters.
CopyWeb's answer:
CopyWeb is built on a modern web stack with a strong focus on code quality and maintainability. It uses modern frontend frameworks (such as React and Next.js), automated layout parsing, AI-assisted semantic understanding and componentization, and production-ready engineering practices. The goal isnโt to show off AI, but to make sure the output is actually usable.
CopyWeb's answer:
At this stage, CopyWeb primarily serves indie developers, early-stage founders, and small teams. They use CopyWeb to quickly build landing pages, refactor frontend code, or ship MVPs without additional design overhead. Right now, we focus more on deep user feedback than on listing large enterprise customers.
It's much more convenient than GoogleDrive. I frequently use it to share my projects on freelance platforms. This is reliable cloud storage with many features

Even better: upload an example Excel file to a file-sharing website (box.net/files, dropbox.com, onedrive.live.com, etc), and post a download link that does not require that we log in. Source: over 2 years ago
Note that Dropbox automatically backs up all your files. So if you delete a file, you can recover it on dropbox.com, even 6 months later. Source: almost 3 years ago
Upload what is on that stick to a cloud based system that is not vulnerable to degradation of hardware, you can get a lot of storage for free on sites like dropbox.com, mega.nz, or icloud. You can also always make multiple backups. Source: almost 3 years ago
Did you try logging into dropbox.com and checking there? Often the files remain online even if they are removed locallY. You have to log in with the same account you deleted Locally. Source: about 3 years ago
Dropbox: You absolutely NEED backups. Ideally, both physical and cloud backups, because if you only have one backup, you're not backed up. I can't even begin to tell you how many writers have lost days, weeks, or even entire novels worth of work because they failed to back up their work, then had their computer break or had some weird software snafu. Dropbox is my preferred cloud backup solution, because you can... Source: about 3 years ago
