  • Comprehensive Repository Analysis
git-sizer analyzes many different dimensions of a Git repository including commit count, tree size, blob size, history depth, and reference counts, providing a holistic view of repository health and potential scaling issues.
  • Easy to Use
The tool is simple to run with minimal setup—just execute it within a git repository—and it produces clear, human-readable output that highlights potential problem areas without requiring complex configuration.
  • Identifies Performance Bottlenecks
It helps identify specific issues that could degrade Git performance, such as excessively large blobs, deep history, large trees, or too many references, which is valuable before migrating or scaling repositories.
  • Open Source and Maintained by GitHub
Being an official GitHub project, it benefits from credibility, community trust, and ongoing maintenance, and it is well documented with clear explanations of what each metric means.
  • Useful for Pre-Migration Checks
It's particularly helpful for teams migrating repositories to new platforms or consolidating repos, as it flags potential issues that could cause problems during migration or with hosting providers' limits.

Possible disadvantages

  • No Automatic Remediation
git-sizer only identifies and reports issues but does not offer any built-in tools or automated processes to fix problems like large blobs or excessive history depth—users must use separate tools like BFG Repo-Cleaner or git-filter-repo.
  • Output Can Be Overwhelming for Beginners
While detailed, the output includes many metrics and threshold levels that may be confusing for users unfamiliar with Git internals, requiring some learning curve to fully interpret results.
  • Limited to Local Analysis
The tool analyzes a local clone of the repository, so it requires users to have a full local copy of the repo (or at least enough history) to get accurate results, which can be time-consuming for very large repositories.
  • No Real-Time Monitoring
It functions as a one-time analysis tool rather than providing continuous or real-time monitoring of repository health, requiring manual reruns to track changes over time.
  • Command-Line Only Interface
The tool lacks a graphical user interface, which may be less accessible for users who prefer visual dashboards or are less comfortable with command-line tools.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing DoableClaw and git-sizer.

What makes your product unique?

DoableClaw's answer

Most AI visibility tools ask each prompt once a day and hand you a score. A score you cannot check is a number, not evidence.

DoableClaw works differently:

  • We ask five buyer questions twelve times each, not once. One run is a coin toss — assistants answer the same question differently each time. Repeat sampling is the only way to tell a real position from a lucky one.
  • We keep every answer. Full text, per engine, saved. When your visibility moves you can open the answers and see exactly what changed, instead of trusting a chart.
  • We show who got named instead of you, and why. Not just your share of voice, but the sources that assistant actually read to reach its answer — so the fix is a specific page, not "publish more content".
  • We cover both halves of growth. Getting named in AI answers is one half. The same platform then finds the companies already in-market, scores them on 10+ demand signals, and books the meeting. Every other tool in this category stops at the dashboard.

In short: other tools count the answers. We show our working, then act on it.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

DoableClaw's answer

Pick DoableClaw if you need to prove a visibility change, not just report one — and if you want the demand you uncover to turn into meetings.

Against the AI visibility tools:

  • Profound runs each prompt once a day from $99/mo. We ask each question twelve times and keep every answer.
  • Peec AI reads six engines, but the plan you buy covers three.
  • Otterly tracks seven engines daily from $29/mo — daily, but one sample each. Frequency is not the same as confidence.
  • Sight AI writes and publishes the content. We measure whether the answers actually changed.

Against the SEO suites:

  • Semrush tracks 25 custom prompts daily at $99/mo per domain, inside a full SEO suite. We do one thing properly instead of everything adequately.
  • Ahrefs Brand Radar looks your brand up in a 405M-prompt index, on top of an Ahrefs plan. We go and ask the question live.

And the difference none of them have: once you know which prompts you lose, DoableClaw finds the companies already searching in your category, scores them on 10+ demand signals, and books the meeting. Everyone else hands you a dashboard and wishes you luck.

Every claim above is on our comparison pages with the pricing and engine counts side by side.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

DoableClaw's answer

B2B companies whose buyers now start with an AI assistant instead of a search box.

Eight groups use it most:

  • SaaS teams, because buyers pick a shortlist before they ever open your site.
  • B2B sellers with a buying committee that researches you long before the first call.
  • Agencies, because clients keep asking where AI puts their brand and nobody has a clean answer.
  • Marketing teams whose buyers ask an assistant before they ask you.
  • SEO teams watching rankings hold steady while the clicks leave anyway.
  • Founders who need to know what happens when a buyer asks AI which tool to use.
  • Media and publishers whose reporting shows up in the answer while their name does not.
  • Local and multi-location businesses, because "near me" now returns three names instead of a map.

The common thread is simple. These are teams that already do the work, already have a real product, and are losing deals at a stage they cannot see. The shortlist gets made inside a conversation they are not part of.

Company size runs from a two person startup to a mid-market marketing team. The person who signs up is usually a founder, a head of growth, or whoever owns pipeline and is tired of guessing.

What's the story behind your product?

DoableClaw's answer

"I built DoableClaw so you don't need a team to grow." That is the founder's line, and it is the whole story in one sentence.

Vivek Gaur built two startups before this one. Altis Vortex, then Prep Online, which was acquired. After that he ran growth as Chief of Growth at Physics Wallah, and stayed through the IPO.

Two startups. One IPO. Along the way the same pattern kept showing up. Growth was never really a mystery. It was a set of things somebody had to sit down and do, and most founders simply did not have the people to do them. The companies with a growth team pulled away. The ones without it did good work quietly and lost.

So he built the growth team he wishes he had on day one, and handed it to every founder who cannot afford one yet.

Then the ground moved again. Buyers stopped searching and started asking. A founder can do everything right, rank well, write well, and still never appear when an assistant answers "who should I buy from". That gap is invisible from the inside, which is the worst kind of gap to have.

DoableClaw exists to make it visible and then close it. Find out what AI tells your buyers, fix why it says what it says, and turn the demand you uncover into actual meetings.

He still reads every DM himself.
