Diff Checker
DarlingDiff Checker is highly recommended for software developers, writers, editors, teachers, and students who often need to compare documents or code. It is also suitable for any individuals or teams working on collaborative projects where tracking changes in scripts, documents, or spreadsheets is essential.
Darling might be a bit more popular than Diff Checker. We know about 9 links to it since March 2021 and only 9 links to Diff Checker. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Another interesting point: I copied both my answer and the suggested answer into diffchecker.com, and it said they were the same. Source: almost 3 years ago
Never knew diffchecker.com was a thing. Thank you so much for making me aware of it <3. Source: about 3 years ago
In what way did you show the file comparison? Did you use a diff like diffchecker.com ? If someone can see for themselves that every bit of data between two files is exactly the same, and still thinks they are different, IDK how you could get past that. x == x is pretty fundamental. How do I find the actual difference between two strings that appear equal to the naked eye? I used multiple tools and some show no differences, but some show differences. I got diffs on diffchecker.com, but it just shows me that they are different, but not how they differ. Is there a better tool for this? Source: over 3 years ago
I am wondering if there's something that allows you to easily display differences between two json like on diffchecker.com. Is there a library that allows you to easily do that? Source: almost 4 years ago
In practice - no. There's Darling https://darlinghq.org/ but it only supports basic cli things for now. There was some idea for gui support https://github.com/darlinghq/darling-appkit-gui but that is not working and the project is very incomplete. - Source: Hacker News / 12 months ago
Not really possible (yet). Darling tries to do this, but so far it can mainly just run some command-line Darwin software (the open source part of Apple's OSes). Some simple GUI apps too, but you won't be running something like Xcode on Linux any time soon. Source: over 3 years ago
I really look forward to reliable (modern) macOS emulation, a la wine. I miss some of my wee little Mac utilities / games now that Iโm in Linux full-time. Iโm rooting for the guys working on stuff like Darling[0], but it looks like they still have a long road ahead. [0] https://darlinghq.org/. - Source: Hacker News / over 3 years ago
In addition to wine, there's also mono and darling ... Source: over 3 years ago
Because they are different kernels, Closest thing is Darling (compatibility layer like Wine) but it's still WIP (Work In Progress). Source: about 4 years ago
