Descript
CopysmithComing from a video editing background, Descript might take some getting used to. But once you figure it out, it speeds up your editing (especially interviews/long-form voiceover). The captions are very nice to work with, but a bit limited in terms of styles. There are a lot more caption styles, transitions, and effects in CapCut, but Descript excels in simplicity and speed.
The saved layouts (you can make your own) are very good if you want to create a bunch of videos on different topics with the same design scheme or branding.
There isn't much I can say about Copysmith that is bad. The service to help content makers and marketers is plainly marketed, and that is exactly what the produce does. I'd want to see some capabilities for filtering results, for transferring information produced by one template to another, and for adding new templates. I'm quite happy with this service overall. Their software is straightforward and simple to use, and the cost is reasonable for the capabilities they offer. I also appreciate how active they attempt to be in their consumer base. They pay attention to customer feedback and are cognizant of system faults.
I have high hopes for Copysmith's next releases since I utilise a service from a firm that recognises improvements may be made while still providing excellent results.
