Only problem I have with this promotion of Dash is that the 'Dash is Digital Cash' got snowed under with all the references to dash.org and there is also a very very short time to understand why Dash is Digital Cash. Source: over 3 years ago
All these reasons led me to develop this open source project. I chose Dash because honestly I was blown away after trying it. - Source: dev.to / about 4 years ago
1 : Misleading title (there is no actual security breach at dash.org). Source: over 4 years ago
Please see my post history here on reddit and on the dash.org forum. Much has already been written on the subject. Source: over 4 years ago
During Ryan's tenure at Dash, he has managed to rid the official website https://dash.org/ of any mention of the word privacy or PrivateSend, our brand. Not content with that, he took it a step further and single handedly made the decision to de-brand PrivateSend from the wallets, the codebase and the Dash documentation. I am using koreader.rocks on my ereader and KOreader has a native support for https://wallabag.org/. They are both fantastic opensource projects, whenever I like to read something I am sending them to my wallabag and therefore I can easily have them on my ereader too. Also the fact that you can install different plugin on KOreader and customize it in a way you like is fantastic. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago
I moved to a self-hosted Wallabag (https://wallabag.org/) after Pocket shut down. Not the sexiest but does everything I need it to. - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
I'm looking into setting up Wallabag for myself, maybe it could work for you too? https://wallabag.org/. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
I use KOReader [1] on my Kobo. It supports Wallabag [2]. Wallabag offers both hosted [3] and self-hosted options. There's also a standalone kobo client for Wallabag [4]. In addition, Wallabag also supports direct import from Pocket. Instapaper[1] and Wallabag[2] would be the two main alternatives to Pocket, I think. Wallabag is self-hosting although I believe there are hosted services around as well. Cannot get either of them to integrate with my Kobo ereader like Pocket does, though. :-( [1] https://www.instapaper.com/ [2] https://wallabag.org/. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
