I had a lot of with Code Crafters. It's a paid platform, but they give you a basic walk through of different technologies, with full test suites. For example, you implement some basic Redis. It doesn't spoon feed you what to do, but breaks it down into manageable chunks. https://codecrafters.io/. - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
To make this happen, I'm starting with the Shell Challenge at CodeCrafters.io. - Source: dev.to / 7 months ago

Reminds me of one of my favorite games: Hacknet (https://hacknet-os.com - https://store.steampowered.com/app/365450/Hacknet/). Likely contributed in a meaningful way to me becoming a programmer. I think I have Zachtronic's SHENZHEN I/O on my wishlistโwill have to check out his whole catalog. - Source: Hacker News / 20 days ago

We have programming based games like Human Resource Machine and Hacknet. Source: over 3 years ago
For me, it's Home - Dreamland. It's something where I can just close my eyes and lose myself in it. It's so uplifting and if there was an hour-long version of this I'd listen to it all the time while I draw. I found this while playing Hacknet, which that itself is a pretty fun hacker sim game.
