I use AutoKey on Linux. It's less powerful than AHK but uses native Python which is nice: https://github.com/autokey/autokey. - Source: Hacker News / about 3 years ago
On Linux, the more direct equivalent to AHK is the similarly named AutoKey. AHK itself is never going to be cross-platform, due to the low-level it interacts specifically with Windows, but AutoKey is the Linux equivalent, designed to interact low-level with Linux in a similar way to AHK on Windows. I've seen people mention AutoKey but I've never used it myself: https://github.com/autokey/autokey. Source: over 3 years ago
You can also try remapping mouse buttons. I use autohotkey to remap the middle clock to the right click. Autohotkey is windows only, but there is autokey which might help if you are a heavy middle click user like me. Source: over 3 years ago
There's also Autokey, not Wayland compatible though. Source: over 3 years ago
Until the end of September, all my applications (including popular ones like ActiveDock 2, DockView, Command-Tab Plus 2, Stage View) are available at a 30% discount. Source: almost 3 years ago
Command-Tab Plus – Similar to command tab but with included window switching. Source: over 4 years ago
What you want is called a “macos application switcher” or “macos window switcher”. The most recent app I’ve used is Contexts https://contexts.co/ and another app is command-tab plus https://noteifyapp.com/command-tab-plus/ . Back in the day I used to use Witch https://manytricks.com/witch/ so there’s three options. Source: over 5 years ago
Command-Tab Plus is also worth a look and I think did apps and windows at the same time, at least their website shows it doing that. https://noteifyapp.com/command-tab-plus/. Source: over 5 years ago
