This all comes from Artifact the DotA card game, the ENTIRE game is the said group of people trying to map out the would-be draw ending and had a comic where this all came from. Don't know if the comic is still available anywhere because Valve killed playartifact.com (it now redirects to the steam page for it) but if you can find it then yeah theres your source. None of the details have been released yet, but if you play close attention to the Artifact website and the Official twitter @PlayArtifact, they’ll be announcing it soon, hopefully. What I wonder is: why has nobody noticed that code editors lack a concept of 0? When you're writing code, you can express any concept except that of an unfilled hole. My 2c from lots of remote math tutoring, and one coding-for-fun middle school student: - student motivation is everything. Hard to motivate thru a screen and with cameras off. Hard to keep them engaged or recognize if they're engaged. Less of an issue with adult students. - reduce friction for students as much as possible. Ideally one web tool, zero installs. Prefer tools with few failure modes, and have fallbacks... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
