It started with discovering there is no good way to get the text of a video. YouTubeโs official Data API will confirm a caption track exists and then refuse to hand it over, because captions.download requires the video ownerโs OAuth token. The popular open-source libraries work until you deploy them, at which point platforms start refusing datacenter IPs. I can't figure it out why some websites (and app) are not correctly displaying things when mullvadvpn is active. The one website (and only, so far) that is giving me problems is https://500px.com/ which doesn't load pictures. Same thing with the app on Android.
